The M8 Howitzer Motor Carriage is a self-propelled howitzer vehicle that was used by the US during WWII. It was developed on the chassis of the M5 Stuart tank and was equipped with a 75mm M3 howitzer in a M7 mount. Less than 2000 M8 HMCs were produced.
