After tearing across Jamaica and Cuba, Hurricane Melissa is now headed for the Bahamas, where it’s expected to hit this afternoon and evening. As of 2 p.m. ET, the storm is a Cat 2 with 100 mph winds, but the National Hurricane Center said that some slight strengthening is possible today into tomorrow.
