Aug 16, 2019 · Bryant had shown he could be good last year, but the team still prioritized going Jeff Green or Morris at center, then signing & playing Portis later on. Bryant absolutely deserves the minutes, but Brooks would only play him for 21 min at a time even after it was clear the wiz were not making the playoffs.
