BATH (WGME) - Maine State Police are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday morning in Bath. The incident led to an hours long shelter in place order for northern Bath. “Early this morning, in-between six and seven, I heard some screaming and a couple pops,” said Brian Bennett, a Bath resident.

Bath Police responded to 10 Crawford Drive in Bath for the reports of a shooting. Upon arriving on scene, officers from the Bath and Brunswick Police Departments and Deputies from the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office located two adult women suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police in Bath, Maine are investigating the deaths of a mother and daughter. Police say the two women were shot Sunday by a man who then turned the gun on himself. Maine State Police identified the victims as 58-year-old Lisa Bailey and her 32-year-old daughter Jennifer Bailey who were found dead at 10 Crawford Drive,
