Are the Twins the Yankees' personal punching bag? The results say they are on most nights, but they weren't Tuesday night thanks to Joe Ryan delivering a gem.

Joe Ryan allowed a run and four hits in 6 2/3 innings and the Minnesota Twins beat the Yankees 4-1 on Wednesday night, breaking a nine-game losing streak to New York.

Clemens, a two-time Most Valuable Player, 11-time all-star and one of the best to ever take the mound, focused much of his talk on confidence, Kriske and fellow pitcher Thomas Hatch said. The message was to “trust your stuff, and (that) it stacks up with anybody that we play,” Hatch said.
