Following the Balochistan train hijack by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a debate has triggered whether India could potentially play a key role in liberating Balochistan from Pakistan, with experts comparing the scenario with the 1971 Bangladesh war of liberation.

The DG ISPR commended the Pakistan Army, Special Services Group, Law Enforcement Agencies and FC for conducting the operation with utmost precision and caution. He mentioned that not a single causality happened during the conduct of the operation. He said some passengers were martyred before the launch of the operation by the security forces.

Pakistan accused India of sponsoring terrorism without implicating it directly in the recent Balochistan train attack. Communication during the attack was traced to Afghanistan, and Pakistan urged Afghanistan to act against the perpetrators.

India on Friday trashed Pakistan’s allegations of backing terrorism against that country following the Balochistan train attack and said Islamabad should look inwards before shifting the blame on others for its “failures”.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan military and Balochistan provincial leadership on Friday accused India of orchestrating terrorism in the restive southwestern province, a day after the PM Shehbaz Sharif-led govt levelled similar allegations against New Delhi.

India has rebuffed Pakistan's claims of supporting terrorism, urging them to introspect. Pakistan accused India post a Balochistan train attack, but Afghanistan also rejected blame.

India has refuted Pakistan's claims regarding its involvement in the Jaffar Express attack, with MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stating that Pakistan should address its own issues rather than blame others for its failures.
