President Trump expanded a travel ban to include five more countries, including Syria and Mali, citing national security concerns and insufficient vetting.

The new proclamation is an addition to earlier list of 19 countries, which faced either complete travel ban or partial entry restrictions.

The revised rules now bring the total number of countries with U.S. travel restrictions to more than 35.
