Two people were killed and one person was taken into custody Thursday in a shooting that involved two gunmen, Detroit police said.

At 10:57 a.m., police received calls of shots fired and one possibly down in the 3800 block of Bewick Street, said Detroit police Deputy Chief Arnold Williams during a media briefing. When officers arrived on the scene, they found two people in the street who had been fatally shot.
