AP Top 25 poll: Miami moves up to No. 2 after beating Florida in Week 5 college football rankings
Three of the top five teams in the country were off this week, including Ohio State and Penn State, but there was still plenty of action around the world of college football. Following Miami's 26-7 win over the Florida Gators, the Hurricanes jumped both LSU and the Nittany Lions to claim the No. 2 spot in the country.
Upcoming is potentially A&M’s most challenging test of the season down in Death Valley, where A&M hasn’t won since joining the SEC. QB Garrett Nussmeier wants revenge after losing in Aggieland after Reed replaced former QB Conner Weigman.
A notable drop below Tennessee was Alabama, who was idle. The Crimson Tide went from 14 to 17 despite not playing, thanks to the Hoosiers and Red Raiders vaulting up the rankings. Utah and Auburn both dropped out of the poll.
