Trey Benson is expected to serve as Arizona's lead running back against the NFC West-rival Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night. The third-round pick in 2024 has 416 career rushing yards and a 5.0-yard average per carry with one touchdown.

The Cardinals will have a free spot on the active roster after losing James Conner for the season with a foot injury. He was placed on injured reserve. Arizona also released Kyon Barrs from the practice squad while signing Elliot Brown and Patrick McMorris to that department.
