Sacramento Zoo expansion plans announced for Land Park site and area previously used for pony rides
The nonprofit that manages the Sacramento Zoo announced plans Monday to expand the zoo at its Land Park site and at a location across the street that used to hold pony rides.
The proposed plan would be the zoo’s largest expansion since the 1960s, Sacramento Zoo officials announced Monday.
