William Bryon outdueled Ryan Blaney on a late-race restart at Martinsville to take the checkered flag and advance to the NASCAR Championship 4.

With the playoff field being whittled down from eight to the Championship 4 after 500 laps at the paperclip, Larson is still alive if a new, third winner in the Round emerge as well. He would only need to gain a couple of points on Christopher Bell, who is 37 points above the elimination point.

Chase Briscoe became the second Joe Gibbs Racing driver to advance to the championship four portion of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs on Sunday.

Heading into the Round of 8 finale, Christopher Bell (37 points above the cutline) and Kyle Larson (plus-35) are above the cutline. William Byron (minus-36), Joey Logano (minus-38), Ryan Blaney (minus-47) and Chase Elliott (minus-62) are below the cutline.
