PORT BARRE, La. (KLFY) — For the last 38 years, the Port Barre Lions Club has held the Cracklin Festival as a way to support organizations that help the underprivileged and people with disabilities.

The Port Barre Cracklin Festival is underway and the festivities continue through the weekend. The festival started in 1985, and now serves as the main annual fundraiser for the Port Barre Lions Club.
