Stephen Colbert is already planning his next career move after The Late Show's controversial cancellation. During the Monday, July 28, episode of his late night series, Colbert, 61, joked about venturing into podcasting while getting advice from Las Culturistas' Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers.

Local Illinois comedians suggested that CBS canceling “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" could lead to more jokes about President Donald Trump in response.

Since his show was canceled, Colbert — and other hosts of late night — have roasted the president even more than usual. In return, Trump has said that it's "really good" to see Colbert go, and he hopes that he "played a major part in it."
