The Toronto International Film Festival has pulled a documentary that covers the events of the October 7 terrorist attack in Israel from its lineup, according to Deadline. The Road Between Us: The Ultimate Rescue,

A new documentary about the Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel by Hamas has been booted from the Toronto International Film Festival — because organizers insist the filmmakers need the rights from the terrorist group to use their horrific footage of the massacre.

"We call on TIFF to reverse its decision and stand for the principles it claims to uphold," the Creative Community for Peace says.
