Stephen Colbert brought his Emmy to 'The Late Show' and thanked fellow nominee Jimmy Kimmel for campaigning on his behalf instead.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom will be on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert," according to an Instagram story post from the show posted Tuesday.
"Sometimes, you only know how much you love something when you get a sense you might be losing it," Colbert said in his acceptance speech.
The show, which Colbert has hosted since 2015, beat out “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on ABC.
