The SEC’s rivalries are set, at least for the next four years. The schedule will preserve key rivalries, but Alabama-LSU will not be kept annually.

The SEC will officially announce each schools’ three “permanent” football rivals in a television special on Tuesday, but the news leaked out via On3’s Chris Low on Monday.

According to ESPN’s reporting, Texas will face Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Arkansas annually; Texas A&M will face LSU and Missouri in addition to Texas; and Oklahoma will face Missouri and Ole Miss in addition to Texas. The SEC will officially announce the annual opponents for the 2026-29 seasons during a reveal show at 6 p.m. CT on Tuesday.

Brian Kelly and the Bayou Bengals have received their three permanent SEC opponents, Crimson Tide not on the docket.

This set of annual opponents will only be applied for a four-year cycle over the 2026 to 2029 seasons and will be revisited for 2030.
