Police officers shoot, kill San Diego County murder suspect outside of Orange County In-N-Out
Police officers in Orange County shot and killed a man who was a suspect in a San Diego County murder investigation early Saturday morning, authorities confirmed. The Orange County Sheriff's Department confirmed the fatal shooting in a series of posts on X on Saturday morning.
The Sept. 17 shooting happened as officers were following up on a domestic-related investigation. A suspect was also killed by police.
Police say while running off, the suspect pulled out a gun and started shooting, which hit one of the officers.
The suspect in the fatal shooting of three police officers in Pennsylvania has been identified as Matthew James Ruth.
Three law enforcement officers were shot dead and two others were critically wounded in Pennsylvania on Wednesday in a confrontation with a gunman who was fatally shot by police, officials said.
