India’s Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will visit the US on Monday with the view of getting a “mutually beneficial” trade deal, in a sign of easing tensions over tariffs and New Delhi’s purchases of Russian oil.
Notably, this comes a day before Goyal's scheduled visit to the US for trade talks. Goyal, along with Special Secretary in Commerce & Industry Ministry Rajesh Agrawal, will be visiting the US 'to achieve early conclusion of a mutually beneficial trade agreement'.
