Oklahoma State is having a shakeup at the top. On Wednesday, the OSU Board of Regents announced it has accepted university president Kayse Shrum’s resignation. Shrum began her tenure as OSU’s president in July 2021 but has decided to end her tenure after roughly three and a half years.

Oklahoma State University President Kayse Shrum has resigned after less than four years in office. The board has begun the search for her replacement.

The Oklahoma State University Board of Regents says it has accepted the resignation of President Kayse Shrum. The resignation is effective Feb. 3, the OSU Board of Regents said. “We extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Shrum for her dedicated leadership, unwavering commitment to students, and significant contributions to the OSU System.
