Thanks to Easter being late, Notre Dame's annual Blue-Gold Spring Football Game will take place a week early this year.

With an offer from the Cleveland Browns to become its next TE coach, Mike Brown will instead return to Notre Dame to stay as its wide receivers coach.

Much of the luster of the first Wednesday in February has been lost with the addition of the early signing period in December, as the Irish signed 24 commits while also taking 8 transfers. With some much player movement already, and not many 2025 uncommitted recruits being linked to Notre Dame, we shouldn’t expect much from this signing period.

That was the last time Rochell was on a roster, as on Sunday evening he officially retired from the NFL. He finishes with 114 tackles, 9.5 sacks and an interception over the course of 7 seasons. It remains to be seen what Rochell will do now that he no longer will play football, but we all know whatever he chooses, he’ll do great at.

Coming off a 14-2 season and a runner-up CFP finish, Notre Dame football will hold its first true offseason quarterback competition since 2022.
