The Nebraska Cornhuskers and Michigan Wolverines are currently engaged in a wild showdown, which is tied 17-17 at the half. However, in the waning seconds of the first half, Nebraska pulled off the arguable play of the year.

Saturday unfolded like a textbook Michigan grind-it-out game, even with coach Sherrone Moore serving the second game of his two-game suspension. Biff Poggi stepped in to run the sidelines, and the Wolverines relied on what has long defined the program: run the ball and make the plays that matter most -- the same formula Jim Harbaugh used to guide Michigan to a national championship just two seasons ago.

After a sunny day at Memorial Stadium, Husker fans made their way to the Bob Devaney Center for the 2nd big Husker event of the day. Fans looked depressed and red entering the John Cook Arena, but were ready for some volleyball.

No one expected Arizona volleyball to win in Lincoln, Neb. Giving the No. 1 team in the country a fight was important, though. The Wildcats did that against the Nebraska Cornhuskers before falling 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-18).
