According to reports, the PCB could announce the Pakistan squad for the ICC Champions Trophy and the preceding tri-series with South Africa and New Zealand during the ongoing Test against West Indies in Multan.

Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the detail schedule of the tri-series involving visitors from South Africa and New Zealand.

Full squads list for the ICC Champions Trophy, which is being held in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates from 19 February to 9 March 2025. ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 schedule Squad yet to be named.

Pakistan will play their first match of the Champions Trophy against New Zealand on February 19 in Karachi. The squad list has been sent to PCB Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, for final approval. The final squad is expected to be announced within a couple of days.

Rohit Sharma will lead India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He became India’s full-time ODI captain in 2021 and was the captain during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, where the team finished as runners-up. Last year, Sharma led India to the T20 World Cup triumph in Barbados.

BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia has confirmed that Team India will sport the logo of Pakistan on their national jersey for ICC Champions Trophy 2025 matches.

The Indian cricket team, under captaincy of Rohit Sharma, is set to compete in ICC Champions Trophy 2025 starting February 19. ICC has designated Pakistan and Dubai as the tournament's co-hosts. Rohit Sharma will become the sixth Indian captain to lead the team in this prestigious event.
