Two elk hunters were found dead in Colorado more than two weeks after they went missing during severe weather, and they were struck by lightning.

The two hunters who were found dead in Colorado's backcountry last week died as a result of being struck by lightning, a coroner confirmed to the Scripps News Group in Denver on Monday.
