Milwaukee placed center fielder Garrett Mitchell on the 10-day injured list with a left oblique strained and called up Daz Cameron, the son of former Brewer Mike Cameron.

The Brewers two best defensive centerfielders, Mitchell and Perkins, are now on the IL. Daz Cameron, the son of longtime MLB centerfielder Mike Cameron, can play all three outfield spots, but the Brewers are not keen on playing Cameron in center.

Milwaukee Brewers center fielder Garrett Mitchell left Friday night's game against the St. Louis Cardinals in the fourth inning with left oblique tightness. Mitchell grounded out to Cardinals shortstop Masyn Winn in the top of the fourth and did not take the field in the bottom half of the inning.
