Coming off the billion dollar box office hit about the Manhattan project and cosmic regret, Oppenheimer, everyone’s wondering what director Christopher Nolan’s next movie will be. Details are scarce, though. In fact, all anyone seems to know is that it’s coming out in 2026 and might star Matt Damon.

The original ending of 2019’s Joker was apparently going to make a heavy reference to The Dark Knight. We didn’t get to see it, however, because The Dark Knight’s director Chris Nolan vetoed it. In a report by THR,

The ending of the film (spoilers ahead) is one of the most universally disliked aspects of Joker: Folie a Deux, a miserable end for Arthur Fleck and the alleged birth
