Years from now, Game 1 of the 2025 World Series is going to be remembered for the sixth inning that shook Rogers Centre. Most of Ontario, really. The Blue Jays loaded the bases with nobody out and chased Dodgers starter Blake Snell.

The last time we saw Snell in the World Series was as a member of the Tampa Bay Rays in 2020. In Game 6 of that series, against the Dodgers, he was controversially taken out of a game he was leading 1-0. After Snell’s exit, the Dodgers would rally and win the game to clinch the series.
Blake Snell has been the best pitcher of October. The two-time Cy Young winner is looking for his first World Series ring. He could very well make two starts in the Fall Classic to help get the Dodgers over the finish line. Snell has an ERA of 0.86 this October in three playoff starts.
