The West Bengal Junior Doctors' Forum on Friday announced its decision to withdraw the cease-work demonstration considering the interest of the common people who come for medical services.

JUNIOR DOCTORS in West Bengal on Friday called off their “total cease work” and issued an ultimatum to the state government that their demands should be met within 24 hours. Otherwise, they warned of launching an “indefinite hunger strike”.

Arjun Singh claimed that police were mere spectators as the assailants brandished firearms openly. "Around 15 bombs were thrown, and more than a dozen rounds were fired by these people," he said.
