EA has pulled back the curtain on the next mainline entry in its long-running Battlefield franchise, explaining a new development plan involving four different studios, as well as a new way for players to hop in early to provide feedback on what the teams are making.

Since the footage seen of Battlefield 6 is pre-alpha, it is an incredibly early look at the game. That said, it already looks incredible, specifically with environmental destruction and particle effects. Infantry is seen running alongside tanks and engaging with the enemy. Even in pre-alpha, Battlefield 6 looks fast-paced and chaotic.

EA has delivered the first official look at new Battlefield gameplay as part of an announcement around player testing and its development set-up.
