ESPN's Bill Barnwell considers former Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jarrett one of the big winners in free agency. Jarrett turns 32 next month and is coming off of a pair of sub-par (by his standards) seasons influenced by injury.

Atlanta has Kaden Elliss, Troy Andersen, JD Bertrand, Nate Landman and Josh Woods on the roster at inside linebacker, but Landman is a restricted free agent who did not receive a tender offer from the team and Andersen has had issues staying healthy since being drafted in the second round in 2022.

Jarrett was released on Monday morning in one of the NFL's more shocking pre-free agency moves. While an extension was also possible, the Falcons opted to move on from the face of their defense for the last 10 NFL seasons. Jarrett should have plenty of interest around the league as a free agent.
