The organization that puts on the Oscars has extended the voting window for Academy Awards nominations and delayed next week’s planned nominations announcement.

Because of wildfires in Los Angeles, Academy Award nominations will be delayed by two days and announced on Sunday, Jan. 19

The Producers Guild has pushed the nominations announcement for its annual awards show to Sunday, January 12, due to the ongoing devastating Los Angeles wildfires. In a statement Thursday morning, the guild said,
