Mentally tough Wynford nabs sectional title at Division II girls golf tournament
Junior Caroline Sheldon fired a 77 for the third-best score on the day, senior Rylee Robinson carded an 86 to place fifth, junior Willa Johnson a 99, junior Maggie Ridge 104, sophomore Megan Young's 117 was the drop — all five finished among the top 50 individuals — for Wynford, whose 366 bested group-mate Edison's 382 for the sectional title.
The last eight weeks have been a whirlwind for the Jamestown High School girls golf team. That whirlwind is now over. The Blue Jays' season came to an end on Monday at the 2025 West Region Girls Golf Tournament.
