In the coming weeks and months, drivers, teams, the FIA and F1 itself are set to discuss a viable way to expand the format given the added demands the weekend format can place on the paddock.

"The F1 Sprint has continued to grow in positive impact and popularity since it was introduced in 2021," said Formula One Chief Executive Stefano Domenicali in a statement.
