Tesla ( NASDAQ:TSLA) stock is down about 0.5% on Wednesday morning as the company faces a regulatory headache in California after the Department of Motor Vehicles said the automaker used misleading terms such as Autopilot and Full Self-Driving for its driver-assist system.
In the seven years since I last reviewed it, Tesla Autopilot and 'Full Self-Driving (Supervised)' have come a long way. But its biggest issue has gotten worse.
Tesla stock slips. Analysts are split on full-self driving progress. Few on Wall Street would argue that Tesla’s valuation is all about AI. Many, however, will argue over just how much progress Tesla is making on that front.
