According to the National Hurricane Center's 11 a.m. Sunday advisory, Tropical Storm Gabrielle is in the Atlantic Ocean, 390 miles southeast of Bermuda. The system, with maximum sustained winds of 65 mph, is moving to the northwest at 12 mph.
According to the National Hurricane Center, Gabrielle is forecast to pass east of Bermuda late Sunday into Monday and strengthen into a hurricane.
Thursday night rains, the remnants of Tropical Storm Mario, have forced the closure of many roads in Death Valley National Park, but the main east-to-west road remains open.
