A new mock trade scenario outlines how the Timberwolves could pair Anthony Edwards with an intriguing new backcourt partner.

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is on the injury report ahead of Sunday's game vs the Sacramento Kings.

Edwards has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Memphis.

The Timberwolves (17-9), who have won seven of their last eight games, exacted a measure of revenge for their 117-112 overtime loss at Sacramento on Nov. 24 when they blew a 10-point lead with less than three minutes remaining in regulation.
