Strong thunderstorms and all kinds of potential hazards have been par for the course throughout much of Texas this spring. And that is likely to continue through the week, as forecasters are expecting more precipitation to hit areas of North Texas,

Sunday is projected to be similarly hot and bright before the return of strong storms, this time more widespread. Almost all of North Texas is forecast to see overnight thunderstorms, with western counties facing the biggest threats for hail and damaging winds.

In addition to the warmth, severe storms will be possible overnight Saturday night, Sunday night and Monday afternoon and evening. It was a hot and humid Saturday. Highs reached into the low 90s with a heat index hitting 100°.
