While Shohei Ohtani made history at the plate and on the basepaths in 2024, the Los Angeles Dodgers superstar could continue to rewrite the record books when he returns to the mound.

Ohtani reportedly played a huge role in the Dodgers' recruitment of Sasaki, the 23-year-old pitching phenom, who posted a 29-15 record and 2.10 ERA in 64 appearances in the Nippon Professional Baseball. Ohtani also recently revealed his message was to Sasaki just before the latter picked the Dodgers.

After making some of the most impactful additions of the MLB offseason, the Los Angeles Dodgers are aiming to defend the Commissioner's Trophy in 2025.
