A West Virginia woman is accused of trying to bring an unlicensed gun through a checkpoint at the Pittsburgh International Airport.

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WDTV) - Allegheny County Police have arrested and charged a Bridgeport Woman after a firearm was discovered at the main security checkpoint at Pittsburgh International Airport.

Fire crews responded to a report of a trailer fire on Saturday around noon at Pittsburgh International Airport, according to a representative of public affairs at PIT. The fire was near the parking area at the construction site which is not available to the public.

Transportation Security Administration officers at Pittsburgh International Airport intercepted a gun from a Florida man who was going through the security checkpoint on Tuesday. The 9mm handgun was packed with a box of ammunition.
