The question of whether a 2-year-old beaver named Nibi can stay with the rescuers she has known since she was a baby or must be released into the wild has been resolved, thanks to the governor of Massachusetts.

Governor Maura Healey issued Nibi a permit allowing the 2-year-old beaver who captured the hearts of people across the country to stay at the rehabilitation where she’s lived most of her life.
