EAST LANSING -- Less than 48 hours after Michigan State’s season came to an end in the Elite Eight, a key player is apparently looking for a new school. Junior guard and co-captain Tre Holloman will enter the transfer portal, according to multiple reports. He would be the first player on the roster with eligibility remaining to enter the portal.
The last time the legendary coach brought a team that far in the NCAA Tournament was also in 2019. In that year's Elite Eight, his Michigan State team also took down the No. 1 overall seed to punch a ticket to the Final Four — a memorable 68-67 upset of Zion Williamson-led Duke.
