iOS 26 has arrived. The biggest iPhone software redesign since iOS 7 in 2013 is now available as a free update for compatible devices. In addition to a new look, iOS 26 upgrades core apps and pushes Apple Intelligence further in new ways. Here are the highlights.
As Apple rolls out iOS 26, users can expect additional tweaks and bug fixes in follow-up updates over the coming weeks. The company has not yet confirmed when Apple Intelligence will be available in all regions. The Live Translation feature is limited in the European Union for now.

Other features include a call screening assistant, a new gaming and preview app, in-app translation across the system, and updates to Genmoji and Image Playground apps.
To switch off call screening, open the Settings app and head to Apps > Phone. Scroll down to the Screen Unknown Callers section and tap Never. Alternatively, you can choose to silence calls from unknown numbers completely and send them to voicemail, or just stick with Ask Reason for Calling.
