The Boulder Police Department lifted a mandatory shelter-in-place order that was in place for several hours Monday as SWAT members attempted to negotiate with an armed suspect who ultimately took his own life.

Boulder police told FOX31's Greg Nieto that an incident near Table Mesa Drive was actually spurred by an incident on CU Boulder's campus Monday, and ended with the suspect taking his own life.
