Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson said the city should look into a plan that mimics that of New York City ’s congestion pricing in lower Manhattan. Speaking with Block Club Chicago, Johnson said the city “should explore” a similar plan, noting it could be useful to implement on drivers who are not Chicago residents.

Traffic in the metro area is the second-worst in the world, tied with New York City, according to a report released Monday by the traffic data analytics firm INRIX.
