Chicago Blackhawks forward Connor Bedard was placed on injured reserve on Monday for an upper-body injury, and Blackhawks coach Jeff Blashill said he’ll be re-evaluated after the new year.

Woll played 40 minutes against the Hurricanes on Dec. 4 before leaving the game with a lower-body injury.

The 27-year-old netminder was stellar leading up to his absence, as he went 3-1-0 with a 1.62 GAA and .950 save percentage over his last four starts.

Detroit Red Wings right winger Jonatan Berggren, Chicago Blackhawks goalie Laurent Brossoit and Dallas Stars defenseman Vladislav Kolyachonok are on NHL waivers, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman. Berggren became the odd man out on the Red Wings ' roster. The 25-year-old was scratched in nine out of the Red Wings' last 10 games.
