As people across much of central and southern Ohio are gearing up for Winter Storm Fern, many college students are asking: Will we have a snow day?

The drill coincides with Severe Weather Awareness Week, which runs from March 15 through March 21.

Severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes, damaging winds and hail are expected across parts of Ohio on Saturday, March 7.

Plenty of clear skies will continue the rest of the afternoon. Winds may be a bit breezy at times gusting up to 20mph. Overall temperatures will be quite pleasant with highs reaching near 70 degrees.
