Despite Tesla Supercharger Access, Ford Drivers Only Use Them 20% of the Time

Ford Ships 140,000 Free NACS Charging Adapters, Now Available For $200
Lectron has now fully ramped up production of these new adapters and all of the pre-orders from existing customers have been fulfilled. Ford has gone delivering 60,000 between March 2024 and January 2025 (including a mix of Tesla and Lectron adapters) to 140,000 by March 2025. Ford is now exclusively providing the Lectron adapters.
Ford Tested Its New Fast Charging Adapter by Running It Over With an F-150
The addition of Tesla's V3 Superchargers grows the BlueOval Charge Network -- Ford's database of compatible charging stations -- to an estimated 44,000 DC fast charging points across North America. Drivers can find and navigate to those stations via their vehicle's on-board navigation, the FordPass app and, now, Apple Maps EV Routing.
