Powerball jackpot hits $1.25 billion; Salinas player has 5-number ticket

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s draw is estimated at $1.25 billion after no ticket matched all six numbers drawn Monday night. In California one player matched five numbers, without the Powerball. That ticket, sold at Star Market in Salinas, won $708,443, the California State Lottery said.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Another weekend without a winning Powerball ticket has allowed the jackpot to increase to an estimated $1.1 billion for the drawing on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025. This is the sixth largest jackpot in Powerball history. The Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, numbers are 1-28-31-57-58 Powerball 16 Power Play 2x.
