The running game is back in the NFL. In 2024, teams averaged 119.8 rushing yards per game, the second-highest figure in the last 20 years, only behind the 2022 season's average of 121.6 yards per game.

The Lions don’t have a ton of immediate needs, and some of them will be addressed in free agency. For the sake of this big board, there’s a heavy emphasis on edge rushers and defensive tackles — strengths of the class and potential areas of need for the Lions — with a few interior offensive linemen and corners sprinkled in.

The Denver Broncos are going to need to add to the running back position this offseason and while the free-agent market could provide some answers, the NFL Draft is loaded with potential at the position this year.
