As one TV season wraps, the broadcast networks are looking ahead to next fall, which will introduce several new primetime shows hoping to earn a permanent spot on your viewing schedule. Among the offerings,

NBC has also canceled “Brilliant Minds” and “Stumble” ahead of the 2026-2027 season. In addition to “SVU,” the network renewed “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med,” “Chicago P.D.,” “Happy’s Place” and “St. Denis Medical.”

According to NBC, they are officially scheduled to air another new episode of their hit news/documentary show, “Dateline NBC” tonight, May 8, 2026, and it will feature a look at a story about a murder scandal that took place in a Ohio driveway.
